Doing Good!

Today has been a very good day for me. I have lost a total of 35 pounds since I joined and reached my first mini goal. I’m feeling really good. I have set my second goal and need to lose 45 pounds to reach it. I have met a lot of nice people here who are full of support when I need it. I haven’t been here in awhile, been having lots of computer problems, I just hate them but I can’t live without them either….lol

New Day!

Hello everyone, I’m sorry for not posting sooner but I changed internet providers and just now being able to get back online. Its been a very long three weeks and I still can’t beleive it took that long but there is a serious waiting list to get on cable internet in our area. The good news is that I have lost almost nine pounds since I have last posted. I’m walking more and watching my bad carbs. I have been jucing more than I shoud but I love all the fresh summer fruits and veggies.

Another good day!

Hello everyone, we had a house full today, family from New York came to visit and wanted all kinds of goodies. I stuck to my diet plan and cooked my favorite dish ahead. I made a seven layer salad I have several versions of the salad. I had to make my own dessert using Splenda so it would be sugar free. No one could tell the difference. I made a Tiramisu and it was great. Its one of my favorite desserts. To get my exercise in most of us took the dogs out for their daily walk. It was a very good day!

My second day here….

Hello everyone, I love this site and I’m so glad I found it. I have met four really nice and supportive people on here.  I’m still doing good on my low carb lifestyle. I eat no bad carbs just fresh fruits and veggies. Had a platter for lunch and going to have grilled chicken and broccoli for dinner. I have a juicer and use it everyday. My favorite juice is carrot-apple-parsley and in the summer I love juicing watermelon and cautiloupe….pineapple juice is not bad either. Done some walking on my treadmil when I got home from church.

My first day….

I have been fat all my life. Now that I just turned 42 its time to do something about it. I done a search and found this site and joined up right away. I have already found a diet buddy and his name is Rufus and I hope to find a lot more. I need all the help I can get. Right now I’m following the Low Carb lifestyle and loving it. I had a major sweet tooth and needed to control it. Had to give up the sugar and I’m glad I did. I also watch my bad carbs. Try to stay away from the rice, white bread, sugar, crackers and potatoes. So far I’m doing okay.
